food plans

while at work today I had a team mate ask me if I had been to the newest eating place in town (think donuts) and I told him that I hadn't...and then the joke went about how it's worth the weight on to enjoy donuts...etc.

I can't deny that I have my moments that I'm tempted & I give in to 'temptation' and I've come to the realization that while there are really no 'off limits food'...just what are you are willing to 'do' to have that food 'in your tummy'.........and honestly to me donuts are not worth it to me...Dr. Peppers yes...lol.

I don't get tempted by too much other than Dr. Peppers. :D I pretty much stay below my cal intakes daily & I'm happy about that. What I've decided to do after next week *when my journals are filled* is keep a food journal. I am going to write down on paper what I eat & the MACRO's and then post them to http://www.fitday.com/ and post those results here are well.

Fitday is really user friendly & I've used the site before & am looking forward to 'tweaking' what I'm eating thru the day. I enjoy the challenge & it sure takes creativity to keep things fresh day after day so that one doesn't get into the slump, know what I mean?

I don't know how many of you have read this book
Making The Cut by Jillian Michaels.

I can not suggest reading this book enough. On page 10 it talks about the magic number (BMR) and here is mine
655+500.25+282-188=1249.25

this is my BMR I know where to set my daily calorie allowance. I'm going to do my best to stick to this calorie allowance EXACTLY for the next 30 days (after I change journals).

I found out via the book that I am a balanced oxidizer. What this means is the ideal marconutrient (macros) ratio is 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat. And I would do well on diets like "The Zone"...but I won't do the Zone.lol.
